School of Headache Essentials SHE - General Information and Application to Host a SHE Meeting
EHF-SHE is a newly established school of the EHF, and is dedicated to providing basic, essential information to healthcare professionals that are not (yet) very experienced in treating headache patients, but would like to enhance their knowledge on headache and its treatment. EHF-SHE provides a one-day course for general practitioners, fellows in general medicine or neurology, nurses or pharmacists interested in headache.
EHF-SHE is organized by a local applicant, who takes care of the course venue (usually a hospital or academic environment), The program will consist of lectures provided by local speakers, as well as a maximum of two speakers on behalf of the EHF, and will be constructed in consultation with the director of SHE.
The minimum number of participants is 20, the maximum number of participants is 70. The EHF-SAS will provide sponsorship for catering during the event and will cover travel costs for the speakers on behalf of EHF. The maximum support amount is 5.000 €.
As a token of appreciation from EHF to the local organizer, EHF-SHE will offer complimentary registration for the upcoming EHC to the local organizer.
Requests for a SHE meeting can be made via mail at ehf@conventus.de, and should include prospective venue for SHE, a draft budget, a motivation letter, including a description of the expected course participants, as well as a CV of the applicant.
